Adjective Order

I stumbled across this the night before last. Apparently it was a big discovery a few years ago, kind of like hipsters “discovering” toast, lol. Wow, grammar! As one article’s author put it though, I followed the rule on a subconscious level even if I didn’t know the rule officially

A former teacher said that if you do writing or grammar correctly “because it sounds right”, it’s a reflection of having good influences in your life (books, speakers, etc…)

Anyway, here, per Cambridge Dictionary is the official order that one is supposed to order their adjectives:

So that means make sure you tell people that your rutabaga is an unusual, small, rough, rectangular, old, Japanese metal general purpose cooking rutabaga. 😀 😀 😀
